I'm an artistically inclined cupcake queen. Like a Chubby June Cleaver with tattoos and a mouth like a sailor.
I tend to have a shotgun effect with what i do: a little art here, a little music there, a little crafting over there somewhere.. I figured i'd start working more on the art end of things. I've been drawing since i was a kid, but that doesn't mean i'm good at it. hah. But being around a super talented cutie definitely is inspiring and i'm learning, i think. so i went out and had a woodsy adventure with my lovely friend Devon (who is the eye behind the camera that took the amazing pictures i just uploaded)
the whole theme came about, because as we were tromping mindlessly around, checking out the old car/truck bodies, she wanted me to pose behind a broken window of an old truck. I walked over, looked in the cab to see A BIG FUCKING RATTLESNAKE. no joke kids. i calmly suggested we find other places to take pictures, and let's just say i was glad i was wearing boots that day! Devon FLIPPED! as she said "i felt like my butt fell out of my butt!!"

So i've got my video for my FIRST EVAR burlesque number.... it's on youtube. yep.

i'm definitely my own worst critic, so it was hard to watch, but i was pretty pleased with the results. even though i forced myself to go slow through the act it still looks rushed/not as smooth as i'd like it to. oh well, practice and experience, right?
next show is HOT MESS. called in the past Trash N Glitter. think trashy, think sexy, think ridiculous. now i have to start dreaming up ideas. i've got a few.
